i agree 50 dollars is not worth it unless it is easy and need money…. watch some of these companies. they should not tell you what they pay. you tell them what you get…. they need us a little more than we need them. |

I did my first loan signing with them about two weeks ago. They take awhile to pay too. Only $50 but I need experience so it was good for me. We’ll see how long it actually takes to get paid. They said up to 60days! Since I’m new, I have no idea what the norm is. Experience is experience….for now. :) |

I’ve done a loan signing for them back in Oct 2007 and still have not received payment. I have tried to contact them, but the number (410-795-4340) no longer works. Does anyone have an updated phone number? |

Gary @ Final Step is a crook. Beware of this guy. He has changed phone numbers, has owed me money since last October and refuses my faxes. Just totally ignores me. Log into Notary Depot and see what everyone has to say about this creep |

If you accept $50 signings, you are actually making LESS than minimum wage. You do not have to accept lowball fees to gain experience. You sully the signing agent industry when you accept $50 signings. You should not be charging less than $100 for overnight docs and $125 for edocs for a 1st mortgage. If a HELOC is part of the package, add an additional $25. Your time, gas, mileage, paper, printer ink, pens, wear and tear on printer is worth far more than a measely 50 bucks. RAISE YOUR FEES !!! |

Well I did get paid, right at the 60 day mark they promised. I had no problems, but now I see that $50 is not acceptable. Although for my first signing I was ok with it. Now I know better. Has anyone had to adjust their fee’s downward because of the slowing market? I appreciate the guideline of what to charge, do you think these fee’s still stand? I barely have any calls any more, and I wonder if they’ll say, no $100 is too high for today’s market? Thanks for the help/hints. |
