Calif Cell Phone Changes for July 2008

We are going to have to have Bluetooth capability in July 2008 for our cell phones to be used in our cars.

I would recommend buying the earphone this month (May 2008) because come July many of these companies will probably run out of the blue tooth earphones and you will be stuck without using your cell phone. If you don’t want the ear piece than buy the one you can attach to your sun visor.

I’ve had an earpiece for two years now. Last October I purchased a Garmin 550 and it has Bluetooth capabilities. I’ve loved using the Garmin. The sound is great on it on both the sending and receiving end.

I am in the process of shopping for a Bluetooth Car Kit to give to my husband for Father’s Day. He has the earpiece, but it’s just not happening for him.

I’ve been shopping around and have found BLUEANT SUPERTOOTH LIGHT LITE BLUETOOTH CAR KIT and the VR3 USB LCD BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE CELL PHONE CAR KIT to be reasonably priced. Both have received decent reviews on Amazon.com. BLUEANT reviews appear to be higher.

I purchased the VR3 from Costco for $29 and love it. As of May 15th, I see that Costco has a $10 off coupon for it too! My signal is clear and so’s my voice – it’s a great solution to an earpiece. good post Joan and Myra!

I just purchased two of the Bluetooth Car Kits, both the BLUEANT (that’s in my car) and the VR3 which is going to my hubby as a Father’s Day gift.
