First signing the drivers lic had a complete first middle and last name. The docs had the first and last names not a middle or an initial. Should I notorize the docs or not? Thanks for the help and info. James |

The real question is: how does the name appear on the loan documents? If it is Sammy J. Signer, he NEEDS to sign as written, not: Sam Signer, Sammy Signer, SJ Signer, … you get the point. The driver’s license only proves that this person, one and the same, appeared before an impartial witness to sign those particular papers. Sometimes you will see a name with and without initials on the loan docs, that is ok. There will be a name affidavit in the package that allows the signer to show that his signature can be one of several variations, althewhile (is that a word???) proving to you that he is the same person. Go forth, and conquer! |

Thanks, I was not sure and I passed up my first $125, they called me 2:30 before the signing and I needed to notorize 5 forrms that I saw. After I got ther I did not feel comfortable, I had the feeling that smething was not right. Several of the forms already had his signature on them and I told them to call someone else. I did’nt even want the money for goig out for the signing, it was about 10min from my house. I think that it was a good experience for me. |

On the ID, more is good, not less. So if DL has John Jacob Jingleheimer, then the docs can be John Jingleheimer. |
