I have been a signing agent since Jan. 2005 and have closed 400+ mortgages. I was a loan officer for 5 years and managed a Citifinancial mortgage branch office for almost 2 years. So being in the industry for so long, I have learned a lot about closings and the closing docs. I know how to accurately explain APR, Pre-Pays, ARMs, Neg-Amort ARMs, Deeds, Notes, Escrows (impounds) balancing out, MI and PMI, Compliance docs, POAs, HELOCs, ect. I can drive to signings as far as 75 miles one way and all the way up till mid-night if needed. I have a 120 volt outlet in my car and laptop with an air-card, so I can print docs while in route to signings. I also have a GPS to find client locations easily.
